We have a new exciting opportunity in Chicago, IL for data scientiststo work with a leading multi-brand online consumer lender.This is a full-timehybrid position focused on applying cutting-edge data science to detect and mitigate fraud.You’ll use tools like Python, SQL, and AWS to develop and deploy machine learning models that protect our customers and business.

Required Skills & Experience Experience in fraud detection and risk analytics Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) Strong SQL skills (preferably PostgreSQL) Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks Model deployment experience Version control (Git/GitHub) Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with AWS (SageMaker, etc.) Docker for deployment Shell scripting/command line Real-time and batch fraud detection systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or related field (Master’s/Ph.D. preferred) What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
70% Python and machine learning (fraud modeling, anomaly detection) 20% SQL and data engineering 10% Docker, AWS tools, and deployment ops Daily Responsibilities
80% Hands On 10% Management Duties 10% Team Collaboration
