Position Overview

The Provider Relations Specialist manages the end-to-end onboarding process for healthcare providers, ensuring a seamless experience. This role involves overseeing operational workflows, communications, and cross-functional coordination to integrate providers effectively.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Provider Relations Specialist, with at least 2 years in onboarding 15+ providers across various specialties.
  • Bachelors degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare operations, telemedicine, or remote work.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt.
  • Proficiency with technology and quick learner of new systems.
  • Experience in mental health is advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Own the Onboarding Experience: Serve as the main contact for new providers, ensuring a positive onboarding journey and advocating for a smooth experience.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Tasks: Collaborate with HR, Product, Clinical Leadership, Support, Marketing, and Operations to manage onboarding milestones, maintain checklists, and communicate progress.
  • Training & Technology Setup: Provide training on CRM/EHR systems, coordinate system logins, and ensure providers are comfortable with all tools.
  • Communication & Reporting: Keep providers informed, update stakeholders, escalate issues, and track KPIs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback, recommend process enhancements, and support ongoing provider needs.
