Technical Instructor/Course Developer Low Band Universal Communications System (LBUCS)

PROSOFT is seeking a talented Technical Instructor/Course Developer to join our team. This technical instructor/course developer will be helping us create high quality training solutions for our customers. Your daily work will involve developing course curriculum, drafting and editing technical documents and procedures for Low Band Universal Communications System (LBUCS) and various C4I systems.

Location: NIWC-LANT, Charleston SC 29419

Clearance: Must have an Active SECRET clearance

Responsibilities
  • Develop course curriculum for Low Band Universal Communications
  • Collaborate with team members to identify training requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to develop training tools
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts
Required Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of learning principles and learning theories
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing training solutions
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments of curriculum effectiveness
  • Ability to draft and update various technical documents and procedures
  • Background in training and training development
  • Highly motivated, self-starter
Nice to Have Skills
  • Previous military instructor experience
  • Previous experience with LBUCS, C4I or other technical career field
  • Previous Navy/Marines/Army formal training development or instruction experience
  • Knowledge and experience using AIM2 for Navy curriculum management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Psychology, or Curriculum Development
  • Technical or Training background
