Senior Social Media Manager
to join the team! W e’re looking for a culturally fluent, voice-savvy, comment-section mastermind to join our team as Senior Social Media Manager across two powerhouse beauty brands. This role is built for someone who lives deep in the feed — watching TikTok's instead of TV, knows when to be bold, when to be clever, and when to just let the feral flag fly — all while staying deeply, intentionally on-brand. You’ll be the front line of these brands across TikTok, Instagram, and beyond — leading community engagement, content calendar management, real-time platform strategy, and serving up voice-driven magic that feels fresh, human, and relevant. What you will be doing:
Curate each brand’s TikTok FYP daily to stay tuned into tone, trends, and culture. Leave witty, scroll-stopping comments on viral content and creators’ posts with impeccable timing and on-brand voice. Use real-time search strategies to discover and engage with rising conversations that align with each brand. Reactively support creator and partner content with comments that drive connection and reach. Monitor tagged content/stories daily and decide what to reshare — writing captions that maintain tone and maximize relevance. Own and manage the full social content calendar — from writing captions to publishing scheduled posts with sharp editorial judgment. Contribute community-informed content ideas while brainstorming with strategists, creators, and editors. Write short form copy for everything from bios to story scripts, pinned comments, and video captions. Approve or give feedback to in-house creators/freelancers, ensuring brand tone and visual consistency are always on point.
What you need to be great in this role:
4+ years of experience in social media — with a sharp eye for voice, tone, and cultural nuances. Deep knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube — both as a user and as a strategist. A natural communicator — you know how to turn comments into mini-brand moments and DMs into brand love. Emotionally intelligent — you know when to be cheeky, when to be serious, and how to read the room. Obsessed with beauty and haircare — you’ve got opinions, recs, and a shower shelf to prove it. Comfortable with social scheduling tools, platform ops, and keeping things buttoned up behind the scenes. Fluent in content trends, emerging creators, and comment-section goldmines. At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $80,750.00 to $90,250.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package. This role will be performed in a hybrid capacity, with one day per week spent in our NYC SoHo Office and two days per month at our client's offices in Hoboken, NJ. #LI-FD1 #LI-midsenior
