(Intermediate-Level) to join our team inSierra Vista, AZ. Must be a US Citizen Must have an active DoDSecurity Clearance. The Active Directory Systems Administrator will support the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) located on Fort Huachuca. The Administrator will be responsible for managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems. The Active Directory Systems Administratorwill work across many teams and high-level managers in the organization to design, lead, manage, maintain, track assets, deploy, implement, troubleshoot, and support the workforce environment. Job Responsibilities: Conductcomplex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, user authentication, and other operating systems as needed. Configure and maintainActive Directory forests and domains across anetwork with over 10,000 users and 20,000 Active Directory objects.ting systems as needed. Manage data backup and recovery. Performroutine tests and maintenance procedures to ensure that the systems are operating within prescribed capacity limits. Responsible for documenting systems and processes used in day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and training. Develop and troubleshoot Power CLI and PowerShell scripts. Interface with database administrators and other IT professionals to coordinate theinstallation and maintenance of client-server applications to support enterprise line of business systems. Ensure the security and compliance of the Active Directory environment. Create advanced monitoring strategies for monitoring and reporting the health of Active Directory components. Record problem symptoms and status information in a timely fashion and communicate internally within IT and externally with the customer through problem resolution. Monitoring, backup, and restoration procedures for Active Directory. Document new system components or modifications to existing components Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions. Qualifications: Must be a US Citizen. Must have an active DoDSecurity Clearance. Three (3+) yearsof relevant experience working in an IT enterprise Systems Administrator field. IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher perDoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security,GICSP,GSEC, SSCP, etc.). Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) experience. Proficiency in the operation of local and wide-area networks and components. Experience or Certification in Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and desktop support. Understanding of essential networking concepts, including IP addressing and subnetting. Current Computing Environment (CE) certification (required within 90 days of performance start date). Preferred: BA/BS degree inComputer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts. Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies. Experience withWindows Server, Systems Center, and Active Directory, Windows Server Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. A problem solver and troubleshooterwho thrives in resolvingcomplex problems. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
