Peraton is seeking a passionate
.NET Software Developer
to join our team of qualified, diverse high-performing team individuals supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The qualified applicant will contribute to developing the next generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. Location:
Hybrid role- On-site in Colorado Springs, CO.
Must be able to work on-site 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). Candidate must have the ability to report up to 5 days per week as needed.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
Promote Agile best practices by self-organizing, self-managing, and coaching teams on effective delivery methods. Support and enhance a high-availability, enterprise-scale .NET application. Conduct comprehensive data analysis, reconciliation, and consolidation to ensure accuracy and integrity. Develop and optimize queries, generate reports, and design user interfaces to improve system usability. Expand capabilities through mobile application development to meet evolving customer needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience or Associate's degree and 7+ years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9+ years' experience. Must have an Active Secret clearance to be considered. Technical experience to include: Data analysis and reconciliation, multi-source integration and duplication. Analysis of trends and patterns, query development and reporting. User interface design and development. Proficient in .NET Core, C#, SQL Server and ASP.NET (4.0+). Visual Studio 2019+, GitLab source control, and both client/server-side development. Enterprise software architecture components and patterns. Entity Framework. Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). Proven experience supporting complex technical projects - particularly within national security environments. Preferred Qualifications:
Web API a plus Prior experience supporting large-scale Federal IT programs. Familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework for large enterprise delivery. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Details
Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
