Job Summary

We seek an Assistant Vice President for our Financial Lines Claims-Cyber Claims Department. The role involves investigating, analyzing, and evaluating claims. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with system navigation skills and a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of cyber, technology, E&O, and media liability claims, including reviewing loss notices and related documents. Communicate with brokers, underwriters, insureds, counsel, and internal teams. Analyze claims, draft coverage correspondence, manage legal counsel, establish reserves, negotiate, and maintain comprehensive claims files. Prepare ad hoc claims reports. Support Ascot’s 24/7 Cyber Breach Hotline. Stay informed on cyber trends and provide feedback to teams. Attend industry conferences and support marketing efforts. Potentially support other lines such as Management Liability, Lawyers Professional Liability, and Financial Institutions based on business needs. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, J.D., or related field. 5-7 years’ relevant experience, preferably in Cyber claims. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively. Self-starter capable of independent work within a team-oriented environment. Strong computer and claims system skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to understand complex contracts. Strong organizational skills and time management. Desire to collaborate in a team setting. Hybrid work environment. This position may be filled at a different level depending on experience. Compensation

The annual base salary range is $140,000 - $170,000, with potential variations based on experience and skills. Total compensation may include bonuses and incentives. Benefits
