Serve as the primary scientific resource for healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and internal stakeholders.
Provide clinical and scientific support for the company’s products, including disease state education and product training.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and academic institutions.
Attend medical conferences, symposia, and advisory boards to gather insights and share scientific information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Marketing) to support product development and launch strategies.
Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from HCPs with accurate and balanced scientific information.
Support clinical trial activities, including site identification, recruitment, and investigator engagement.
Monitor and analyze scientific literature and competitor activities to identify trends and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal guidelines in all interactions.
Education: Advanced degree in a scientific or medical field (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an MSL or in a related role (e.g., clinical research, medical affairs, or pharmaceutical industry).
Experience in [specific therapeutic area, e.g., oncology, cardiology, neurology, etc.] is preferred.
Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development, and medical affairs.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs and HCPs.
Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to travel frequently (e.g., 50-70% of the time, depending on the territory).
