Sunday 7:30 am – 2:30 pm Monday – None Tuesday 9 am – 2 pm Wednesday 9 am – 2 pm Thursday 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm (COT/Rooted Season) and 9 am – 12 pm (Non‑COT Season) Friday – None Saturday – None Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned ministry rooms and volunteers during service experiences on Thursdays and Sundays. Recruit, train, lead, and support ministry volunteers. Provide care for volunteers and families, fostering spiritual growth and community. Engage parents to support children’s spiritual development. Create, edit, and prepare the Birth‑2 Ministry curriculum. Purchase and prepare necessary supplies within budget. Complete administrative tasks: leader scheduling, assimilation, and record maintenance. Assist the Kid’s Ministry Pastor and support designated EastLake Kids Ministry events. Attend weekly ministry and staff meetings. Help set up and tear down the Birth‑Preschool area each week. Qualifications
Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Experience recruiting, processing, and training volunteers. Ability to nurture volunteers and provide pastoral care. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. General audio/visual knowledge. CPR/First‑Aid Certification preferred. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Must be comfortable moving in and out of offices, classrooms, and ministry environments throughout the day. Occasional overtime may be required for events, weekends, or seasonal programming. Must lift and carry infants and toddlers, push a buggy bus, bend to pick up toys, and assist with diapering or toileting as needed. All staff must uphold cultural expectations, including regular attendance, personal tithing, and a lifestyle consistent with church values. Terms of Employment
