Principal Cybersecurity Systems Engineer FSP Join us at HRUCKUS to support a critical Information Assurance program in Fort Meade, MD. This role requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and 20+ years of Systems Engineering experience. The Principal Engineer will conduct high assurance evaluations, develop and support security documentation, and manage DoD C&A processes. Responsibilities Perform cybersecurity high assurance evaluation activities, reviewing security evaluation documents and other high assurance artifacts for devices undergoing certification and assessment. Provide technical support for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems, including requirement elicitation, functional allocation, and systems requirements reviews. Support the planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process and other Government C&A processes. Attend and participate in relevant security‑related meetings and reviews to translate vulnerability knowledge into guidance to prevent or manage risk. Clearly document security deficiencies found in the evaluation of artifacts and documents. Recommend requirement clarification and process/template improvement to mitigate security concerns. Required Skills Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university (or five (5) years of additional SE experience can substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree). Information Assurance/Cryptographic experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and lead small teams. Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance. Desired Skills Experience in Space/Weapon/Ground/Terminal system development and/or evaluation. In‑depth knowledge of DoD Certification/Accreditation Process (and other Government C&A processes). Experience in Space System Engineering.
