Property Accountant – Multi‑Family Real Estate
Location Coral Gables, FL
Job Summary A $5 billion real‑estate group with over 8,000 properties seeks an experienced Property Accountant to work closely with the CPA firm, CFO, and Controller, with the prospect of an immediate promotion to Controller. This position is onsite with no remote or relocation options.
Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with the CPA firm, CFO, and Controller.
Oversee a team of 7–8 Property Accountants.
Handle ad‑hoc projects for the Family Office of the Principal.
Ensure accurate and timely property accounting for a large portfolio in the multi‑family sector.
Provide immediate promotion potential to Controller.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of real‑estate property accounting experience.
Familiarity with property accounting software such as YARDI or Entrata.
Leadership ability to manage a team of accountants.
Commitment to onsite work with no remote or relocation options.
