Job Description Join Our Team as an Accounting Clerk! About Us: TheAccountingClerkis a detail oriented who will manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring efficient processing of invoices and hotel deposits. With strong administrative and communication skills, you will play a key role in our financial operations. You will also assist the Property Accountant with various administrative tasks, including human resources and payroll administration, while maintaining confidentiality.
KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
AccountsManagement:
Efficiently manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and deposits. This may include making calls to new and outstanding accounts to keep the AR Aging lin within corporate standards.
AdministrativeSupport: Provide comprehensive support to the Property Accountant, including with human resources, payroll tasks and other duties as needed.
Communication: Engage with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner and participate in credit meetings to discuss account statuses.
AttentiontoDetail: Maintain organized filing systems for direct billing and assist with the accurate adminstration of accounts.
Confidentiality: Handle and manage confidential information with integrity, ensuring the security of proprietary and trade secret information.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
HighSchooldiplomaorequivalentrequired;collegecourseworkinarelatedfieldishelpful.

PROPERTY INFORMATION: Formerly the headquarters of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, the building features a dual-branded hotel with a 135-room Hilton Garden Inn and a 215-room Canopy by Hilton. A National Historic Landmark dating back to 1904, the property is located in the heart of downtown Chicago across the street from Willis Tower. Together the Dual branded property has a total of 350 rooms and suites. The first floor will feature lobbies, amenities, and conference rooms. The existing 15th floor will be modified with its roof removed in its entirety to build a new 16th floor space with an independent restaurant / lounge. The project will also consist of renovating six elevators, as well as the addition of a seventh.
