Overview
Vice President, Finance
– Progyny, Inc.
Lead Finance, Revenue, Margin and Analytics functions. Manage high‑performing teams that deliver forward‑looking financial analysis and insights that drive decision making and align planned actions with company goals. Serve as key advisor to the SVP of Strategic Finance and FP&A and partner cross‑functionally across the executive team and the organization.
Responsibilities
Revenue Forecasting – Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets.
Long‑range Financial Planning – Incorporate key business drivers and market dynamics into long‑term financial plans.
Advanced Analysis – Build and maintain revenue models, forecasting models, performance benchmarks, and commercial analytics.
Business Insight & Strategic Decision Support – Deliver high‑impact financial insights and recommendations to shape business decisions.
Stakeholder Partnership – Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders on business cases and ROI analysis.
Performance Measurement & Reporting – Enhance internal management reporting capabilities, scale business intelligence tools, and support real‑time decision making.
Board Materials & Executive Reporting – Prepare executive‑level reporting packages and scenario‑based planning models.
Team Leadership & Development – Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team.
Qualifications
12+ years of progressive finance and analytics experience in enterprise or high‑growth organizations.
Strong foundation in financial planning, data analytics, and business partnership.Proven success in enterprise‑level finance leadership roles.
High emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style.
Excellent communicator – comfortable engaging with C‑suite executives.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required. MBA preferred.
Healthcare insurance industry experience in a for‑profit environment highly desirable.
Additional Requirements
Healthcare insurance sector expertise essential – fully insured, self‑insured, or fully insured environments.
Proficiency in enterprise systems: Intacct (ERP), Planful (FP&A reporting tool), Plexis (TPA claims processing), SQL, Salesforce, Power BI.
Candidate must be located in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.

Compensation Annual salary range for NYC‑based applicants:
$220,000 – $240,000 . Total compensation includes base salary, cash bonus and equity.
