Overview
Senior People Business Partner - Sales/GTM at Genius Sports. This is a high-impact HR leadership role focused on aligning people strategy with sales/go-to-market growth objectives across our global teams. The role reports to the Chief People Officer and serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership to drive a high-performing culture that enables revenue growth and employee thriving. What You’ll Do
Partner with Sales/GTM leadership to align people priorities with business objectives, ensuring talent strategies enable sales and go-to-market growth plans. Translate business priorities into proactive, data-driven people solutions that enhance organizational performance and employee experience. Design and deliver a scalable people roadmap to support long-term growth. Collaborate with Talent Management, People Operations, Talent Acquisition COEs, and Legal Counsel to design and implement solutions. Leverage people analytics, engagement data, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights to senior leaders. Use dashboards to track organizational health and inform data-led decisions on talent, performance, and organizational design. Act as a trusted coach to senior leaders, cultivating resilient, inclusive, and high-performing teams. Provide practical guidance on leadership challenges, succession planning, and workforce design to drive capability at all levels. Oversee employee relations within your area, balancing pragmatic solutions with compliance and risk management across multiple jurisdictions. Embed a performance culture with accountability, continuous feedback, and career growth; implement clear career pathways and frameworks for future-ready skills and successors. Champion initiatives to strengthen retention of top talent. Lead organizational change initiatives (integrations, restructures, acquisitions) ensuring alignment with sales/GTM and people objectives; navigate human and legal aspects of change; manage large-scale projects from design to execution. Collaborate with Total Reward and Commercial Ops to shape competitive reward/recognition tied to sales performance. What You’ll Bring
Commercial Acumen: Experience partnering with Commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Advertising, AdTech, or Go-to-Market). Influence & Credibility: Ability to influence senior stakeholders with pragmatic, commercially informed solutions in fast-paced environments. Global Focus: Experience working across cultures and navigating global complexity with local adaptation. Data-Driven Mindset: Proficiency in HR analytics to identify trends, measure impact, and inform decisions. Change Leadership: Proven success leading organizational change, including M&A, integrations, and global transformation. Resilience & Adaptability: Comfort operating with ambiguity and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders. Compensation & Benefits
The salary for this role is based on an annualized range of $140,000 - $160,000 USD. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in Genius Sports variable compensation schemes, as well as our US benefits and 401k plans. Location & Culture
