Accountability Install and repair machines and accessories at customer site. Provide Technical information on operation or repair of machines and accessories.

Responsibilities

Proactively attain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees

Install machines and accessories at customer sites, including all necessary assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and wiring of machines and accessories.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software problems on machines and accessories at customer sites.

Test operation of machines and accessories after completing installation or repair.

Train customers on functions of the machines.

Learn new machine features and accessories as they become available.

Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problem, repairs completed, parts installed.

Travel is required; assignments will require overnight or multiple nights stay.

Utilize various test equipment for troubleshooting purposes, including indicators, test bars, clamp force, gages, etc.

Education and Certification

2-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly.

3-7 years of experience in field service.

High School Diploma.

Skills

Read and understand engineering drawings.

Ability to work independently or in a group while completing necessary tasks.

Ability to understand PLC.

Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic circuits.

General computer skills.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive daily basis; heavier lifting in excess of 50lbs on a periodic basis.

Problem‑solving ability depending on situation.

Sound writing and reporting skills.

Strong people skills.

The salary range for this position is $70,926 to $109,025.
