Chief Financial Officer
A well-established nonprofit healthcare organization is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight. The organization delivers a wide range of health and social services, including behavioral health care, substance abuse treatment, housing programs, and community outreach initiatives.
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Direct all accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closes, and cash flow management.
Manage investments, banking relationships, and cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
Oversee financial modeling, forecasting, and development of dashboards to support strategic decisions.
Lead the annual audit process and coordinate all tax filings and external auditor relationships.
Oversee all billing and reimbursement functions across Medicaid, Medicare, and private payers.
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with senior leadership.
Qualifications
10+ years of leadership experience in financial management.
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services environments is preferred.
Strong understanding of government funding systems.
Proven track record managing audits, budgets, and financial systems.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial software systems.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA preferred.
