About the role Braintrust is looking for a motivated and experienced Talent Sourcer to play a critical role in scaling both our Engineering and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.

What you’ll do

Partner with recruiters and hiring managers across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Field Engineering to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and hiring priorities

Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to build strong candidate pipelines for engineering and GTM functions

Identify and engage passive candidates through channels like LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, referrals, and online communities

Communicate compelling narratives that reflect Braintrust’s mission, product vision, and career opportunities

Stay up to date on market trends, talent movements, and competitive intelligence across both technical and commercial talent markets

Maintain and organize talent pools for high-priority and evergreen roles, ensuring a strong pipeline when hiring needs arise

Provide weekly updates on sourcing progress, market insights, and candidate funnel health to recruiters and hiring teams

Ideal candidate credentials

2-5 years of sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience, with exposure to both technical and GTM roles

Familiarity with sourcing tools and techniques, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and up-and-coming AI tools

Exceptional communication skills – you can write compelling outreach and engage candidates across disciplines

Highly organized and adaptable – you can context‑switch between technical and non-technical roles without missing a beat

Proactive, self-driven, and excited to work in a fast‑paced, high‑impact startup environment
