Responsibilities As a Per‑Diem Psychiatrist at Carter, you will:
Deliver psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and evidence‑based treatment to skilled nursing and long‑term care residents.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including primary care, nursing, social work, and therapy services.
Participate in care planning conferences, psychotropic medication management, and behavioral interventions.
Support the facility’s behavioral health initiatives and compliance with CMS psychiatric care guidelines.
Serve as a clinical leader in promoting patient‑centered mental health care and trauma‑informed practices.
Requirements Hourly Rate $200/hr Weekdays, $225/hr Nights/Weekends/Holidays
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry (Geriatric Psychiatry or Consultation‑Liaison experience preferred)
Licensed in New York State
