Job Description At Kalypso, a Rockwell Automation business, we guide clients through their operational transformation journeys that leverage digital solutions, cybersecurity, networking, and cutting‑edge automation technology. Consulting Managers oversee day‑to‑day project execution, mentor junior team members, and maintain trusted client relationships. They bring structure and leadership to complex workstreams, deliver client‑ready outputs, and uphold our standards of excellence across every phase of delivery. You will report to the Principal, Kalypso and can work remotely from any location in the United States.
Your Responsibilities
Manage workstreams or full projects with accountability for scope, schedule, quality, and results.
Develop project plans, monitor progress, and course‑correct to ensure value delivery.
Serve as a client point of contact, translating business needs into actionable insights and solutions.
Guide and mentor Consultants and Analysts, providing structured feedback and supporting professional growth.
Collaborate with senior leaders to build capabilities and support organizational development initiatives.
Contribute to proposal development, solution design, and sales pursuits.
Identify new opportunities to expand work within existing client accounts.
The Essentials – You Will Have
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; we do not sponsor visas.
Ability to travel as needed, potentially up to 50% of the time.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have
8+ years of consulting or relevant industry experience.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations with a strong focus on automation and controls.
Proven expertise in process control systems, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms.
Deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) frameworks.
Hands‑on experience with asset management and predictive/preventive maintenance strategies.
Strong knowledge of OT data management, including data historians, edge computing, and integration with IT systems.
Demonstrated ability to lead or support automation projects from concept through commissioning.
Familiarity with ISA‑95 and ISA‑88 standards for manufacturing systems integration.
Experience working in regulated or high‑compliance environments (e.g., food & beverage, pharma, mining, or heavy industry).

Base salary compensation is from $152,000 to $228,000 per year with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
