Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

MUST BE LOCATED IN ARIZONA - THIS POSITION IS ONSITE!

The Advanced Quality Engineer will build and support a supplier quality system that meets GTI’s stringent requirements, providing subject matter expertise on NPI and APQP, checking fixtures, measurement equipment, and tool development. The AQE reports to the Director of AQE and ensures new customers, products, and programs launch successfully from a quality perspective.

Responsibilities

Lead quality-related items from NPI early stages through launch.

Improve and implement APQP procedures.

Develop and implement process flows and PFMEA in conjunction with engineering and manufacturing.

Create and implement Control Plans, Quality WI’s, Checklists, and quality portions of travelers for new customers and programs.

Coordinate procurement and installation of required check fixtures and measurement equipment/tools.

Develop FAT requirements in collaboration with the customer.

Work on continuous improvement and system automation initiatives as required.

Interact positively with co‑workers, supervisors, managers, and customers under tight schedules.

Travel 10%–25% of the time.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality systems, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of quality experience, preferably in Solar, Automotive, or Aerospace.

Experience with AIAG APQP and Core Tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred.

Quality fixture/tool design experience.

CAD experience.

Program management experience.

Certification as an ASQ CSQP, CQE, or CQA.

Strong multitasking, self‑motivation, drive, and positive attitude.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and inspire others.
