Basic Function This is a full‑time exempt position. Responsibilities include service and claims resolution, HR assistance, benefits administration support, implementation and contract review, communications, compliance expertise, and vendor accountability for performance standards. Alongside Client Management staff, the Senior Account Manager documents service cases in Salesforce, updates checklists and client files, and communicates regularly with clients about outstanding issues.

Principal Accountabilities

Vendor liaison for clients

Maintain outstanding checklists and renewal timelines

Resolve ongoing or escalated issues

Run carrier reports or order monthly reporting from carriers

Negotiate with vendors for competitive quotes and provide contract reviews, comparisons, and recommendations for renewals by established deadlines

Provide proactive customer service and HR support

Maintain internal files and databases with all client data

Support implementation and compliance activities

Proficiently complete fully insured NFP renewal packages

Assist and organize onboarding for new business cases and lines on designated accounts

Knowledge of voluntary benefits, work site products, and enrollment/eligibility options, including benefits administration systems

Proficiency with carrier alternatives, products, and systems

Attend weekly Health and Welfare meetings, planning sessions, and NFP‑sponsored events

Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong client development and relationship building skills

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills

Strong aptitude for organization and prioritization

Desire to work in a fast‑paced environment with flexible duties

Desired Qualifications:

5‑7 years’ experience in Employee Benefits Administration. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Licensing/Certifications:

Health & Life Insurance License.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 – $121,000, with actual compensation determined by experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope of the role, and geographic location. Performance‑based incentives may also be available.
