We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead functional initiatives for Financials and Procurement modules. This role involves process documentation, training delivery, business user collaboration, and system support. Candidates must also have experience with Oracle NetSuite. The role follows a hybrid work model with regular onsite presence in our NYC office.
Job Responsibilities
Provide in-depth functional expertise in Oracle EBS Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA) and Procurement (PO, iProcurement)
Analyze business needs, perform gap analysis, and configure Oracle EBS solutions aligned with best practices
Document business processes, develop functional specifications, process flows, training materials, and knowledge base articles
Design and conduct end-user training for various skill levels across Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement modules
Engage with business users to gather requirements and ensure system configurations meet business needs
Promote standardized processes and best practices among user communities
Support users by troubleshooting issues, resolving functional concerns, and monitoring system performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration across Oracle EBS modules
Stay current with Oracle EBS updates, patches, and new functionalities
Required Skills
Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement modules
Expertise in Oracle NetSuite
Strong experience in business process documentation and user training
Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable system configurations
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of other ERP systems like Oracle Cloud ERP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics
Experience in Oracle EBS upgrades and implementations
Familiarity with reporting and data analysis tools within Oracle EBS
