Job Summary: The client has recently migrated their on-premises data infrastructure to Snowflake and is facing strain across legacy and new systems, particularly in managing provider and member data that integrates with Milliman Insights and Epic. This role will support efforts to rebuild the data platform, solidify core data models, and support both legacy systems and net-new development initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to building foundational objects, optimizing data flows, and leading architectural design. Job Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design and implementation of foundational data solutions in Snowflake Focus on improving and standardizing core data elements, particularly provider and member data Collaborate with teams to build new data pipelines and solutions while maintaining legacy systems Work with stakeholders to understand data challenges and translate them into scalable architecture Support integration with Epic (Healthy Planet Module) and external vendors such as Milliman Insights Develop, optimize, and maintain data models using DBT and Snowflake Utilize Azure Data Factory for data ingestion and transformation pipelines Participate in both legacy support and net-new system development efforts Guide teams on best practices for scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture Required Skills:
Strong expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) Advanced experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse Deep understanding of Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT processes Experience at the Architect level, capable of owning and driving design decisions Solid understanding and experience with the Epic Healthy Planet module Strong background in provider and member data modeling and integration Experience working in hybrid environments (legacy + cloud transformation) Preferred Skills:
Prior experience with Milliman Insights integration Experience working in healthcare or payer/provider data environments Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to operate in fast-paced, transformation-heavy environments Certifications:
Not specified (certifications in Snowflake, Azure, or Epic modules are a plus) Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
