JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE The Import/Export Compliance & Logistics Analyst will ensure compliance with U.S. trade regulations, manage import/export documentation, coordinate domestic shipments, and optimize logistics operations for FIMER’s U.S. branch.

Reporting to the Director of Service Operations, this role plays a key part in supporting FIMER’s Service and Operations teams by ensuring trade compliance, streamlining logistics processes, and maintaining accurate shipment and regulatory records.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in U.S. import/export compliance, freight coordination, and logistics management.

KEY ACTIVITIES Trade Compliance

Ensure compliance with U.S. import/export laws, regulations, and corporate policies

Classify products (HTS), determine country of origin, and confirm FTA eligibility

Oversee and verify ISF, EEI, and ITN filings handled by brokers and freight forwarders

Review export documentation (SLIs, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.)

Maintain complete and accurate trade compliance documentation and records

Support internal and external audits, including development of corrective action plans

Update and maintain trade compliance procedures and manuals

Logistics & Warehouse Coordination

Coordinate domestic shipments and trucking for U.S. operations

Manage outbound shipments from FIMER’s 3PL warehouse (ODW)

Prepare shipping documents including commercial invoices and packing lists

Track shipment timing, documentation accuracy, and delivery status

Collaborate with brokers, carriers, and freight forwarders to resolve shipping issues

Optimize logistics costs, evaluate service providers, and support rate negotiations

Internal Collaboration & Support

Advise internal teams on Incoterms, customs, and export requirements

Communicate with suppliers to obtain required trade and compliance documentation

Assist with training internal stakeholders on import/export procedures

Work cross-functionally with Service, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and documentation
