Lead a team supporting quality control functions and exam management coordination within Wholesale Banking. Responsible for overseeing the administration of various quality control platforms and reporting to ensure effective risk management in wholesale banking. Manage primarily credit‑related regulatory exams and internal audits to ensure responsive, transparent and complete deliverables through coordination with the appropriate areas of the organization. Monitor, inspect, and propose measures to correct or improve processes and approach to meet established thresholds and quality standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Primary point of contact and manager for all third‑party examinations, internal and external

Takes full ownership of Supervisory Issues and Management Self‑Identified issues until full remediation is achieved

Provide change management leadership related to Truist Merger Program

Support for Regional Portfolio Management Activities through owned platforms

Liaison for Regional Commercial Credit and Commercial Credit constituents

Provides data analytics and reporting on the quality control results

Drive partnerships within Wholesale Banking and throughout the broader Truist organization to identify upcoming trends and issues focusing on proactive change management and communication

Proactive outreach and consultation with primary business partners to identify opportunities to engage in constructive dialogue to improve Wholesale Banking results

Provide cross‑team leadership and consultation in support of all Wholesale Credit Delivery strategic initiatives

Qualifications Required Qualifications

College degree or equivalent education, training and work‑related experience

15+ years of commercial banking and commercial credit experience

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, team and communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to communicate and function professionally with all levels of personnel and business partners across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

RMA – Credit Risk Certification designation

Experience managing regulatory examinations

Experience in managing quality control functions

Experience in supporting cross‑organizational change
