Description
Two part-time positions available, 20 hours a week. Located at the Learning Community Center in South Omaha. Be Inspired By the Work You Do At OneWorld, we believe that improving patient health outcomes requires addressing social determinants of health, such as education. We operate the Learning Community Center of South Omaha (LCCSO), which works with children and families to challenge the opportunity gap through early childhood education, family engagement, and future teacher preparation. Our goal is to improve educational outcomes for children and families. We are seeking a mission-driven Child Learning Provider to join our team. The Child Learning Provider will help create and implement lesson plans and activities, and care for children of parent participants at the Learning Community Center. Responsibilities include engaging children through art, music, reading, and educational activities. The position reports to the Learning Community Center Director. These two part-time roles are based in South Omaha (23rd & M, location may vary). Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Relevant experience for the role is required; early childhood or elementary education experience is preferred. Former program participants with high engagement are also strongly considered. Ability to work with children from infants to 6+ years old. Commitment to the mission of the center, along with sound judgment, maturity, patience, and excellent communication skills. Attention to detail. Strong customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
