Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of renewable energy and civil engineering projects, including: Developing schematic drawings Collaborating within teams in a dynamic and cooperative environment Producing high-quality construction drawings Managing projects through municipal and state approval processes Supporting construction and commissioning phases Communicate effectively through verbal, graphic, and written means Assist with proposal writing and business development Manage and mentor mid-level and entry-level staff Plan, schedule, develop, coordinate, and direct renewable energy projects and portfolios Prepare reports, studies, and secure necessary local approvals and permits Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to support business development Coordinate project activities with in-house engineers, designers, surveyors, and external consultants Develop expertise in local and state regulations for utility-scale, distributed generation, and behind-the-meter renewable energy projects Travel to project sites and industry conferences as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 8+ years of civil engineering experience (renewable energy experience preferred) Experience managing renewable energy projects is a plus Licensed Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain licenses in multiple states) Strong communication skills, including public speaking at meetings A proactive team player who is passionate about engineering and project management Ability to lead projects from planning and preliminary engineering through design and construction Seniority level
