Samson Rose has partnered with a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing and robotics company to find a Manufacturing Engineer who will bridge design and production, drive process innovation, and help bring next-generation hardware from concept to full‑scale production. This is a high‑impact role within an AI‑driven, highly automated manufacturing ecosystem, where you will shape how complex structures are engineered, iterated, and built for aerospace, defense, and high‑performance automotive programs. A Little About Them They have developed a fully integrated factory system that combines AI, additive manufacturing, automation, and modular assembly to produce complex vehicle and aerospace structures. Their technology delivers faster, more flexible, and more scalable production compared to traditional manufacturing. They are an established Tier 1 supplier for global automotive OEMs and are expanding quickly into mission critical aerospace and defense applications. They operate a large, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Southern California with advanced R and D and production capabilities. The team is collaborative, innovative, and highly mission‑driven, bringing together experts across design, robotics, materials, and manufacturing engineering. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. Significant exposure to aerospace or defense manufacturing environments. Proficiency in CAD tools such as Siemens NX or AutoCAD and strong understanding of GD & T. Experience with MES, PLM, and ERP systems and the ability to manage manufacturing documentation and process plans. Hands‑on experience with advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing, robotics, or automation. A strong track record in leading projects from concept through production, particularly for high‑performance and high‑reliability hardware. Experience developing scalable processes, troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues, and guiding new products through rapid iteration cycles. Preferred Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field. Lean Six Sigma certification or continuous improvement experience. Familiarity with quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001. Success in high‑tech, fast‑paced startup environments and a passion for transforming traditional manufacturing methods.
