POSITION TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
REPORTS TO: CTO/Director of Operations
Positions Description Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our software engineering team.
Guide functional solution designs for desirability, feasibility, and viability, and leads the development and delivery of the technical solution. This individual will gain team commitment for all systems and software plans, as well as evaluate and select all technologies required to complete those plans.
Confer with clients, product owners, Solution Architects, and Business analysts to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development.
Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.
Where applicable, design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software.
Ensure that proposed and existing technical architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Review new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans.
Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field(Masters Degree preferred).
10+ years of experience in software engineering
IFS Applications and/or ERP development experience
In-depth understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
Experience in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform
Experience in developing and deploying applications on Kubernetes Clusters
Experience with Boomi
Functional understanding of enterprise-wide business systems (i.e. order to cash, procure to pay, record to report, etc)
Experience with Oracle Database technology and SQL
Demonstrable experience with PL/SQL, REST, JSON, and developing to APIs.
