Platform Description: HEIS2.0 is a cloud-based energy monitoring integrated platform developed by Hanwha Convergence. It comprises HEIS.UEP (Utility Energy Platform), HEIS O&M (Operation and Maintenance), and upcoming features including integrated Power Plant Controller, Energy Management System, and Battery Management systems. DUTIES: Lead and manage HEIS projects, utilizing available resources to ensure successful completion on time and within budget. Develop business opportunities with current and potential clients. Collaborate with R&D, O&M, Business Development, Strategy & Operation, and System Solutions teams to deliver HEIS2.0 solutions. Research, investigate, analyze, and support HEIS design for R&D teams in South Korea for continuous development. Assist in developing HEIS applications, including creating/modifying graphical screens for real-time data, historical trends, alarms, and interfaces. Support internal O&M teams to utilize HEIS effectively and provide training as needed. Lead integration of new/existing O&M projects with HEIS, collaborating with SCADA engineers and clients. Propose technical solutions, prepare quotations, BOM, and man-hour estimates for clients. Perform technical presentations to clients demonstrating HEIS2.0 capabilities and gather feedback for improvements. Mentor and train less experienced engineers and technicians. Perform additional duties as required. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION Bachelors degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering preferred. At least 5+ years experience in cloud-based renewable energy monitoring platforms. Strong knowledge of SCADA networks: Fiber Optics, Serial RS-232 / RS-485, Ethernet TCP/IP, MQTT. Knowledge of industrial automation protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, OPC UA, and DA. Problem-solving skills and root cause analysis ability. Understanding of power plant operations and control system interactions with regulatory bodies such as CAISO, ERCOT, etc. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Effective communication in English required. Korean language skills are a plus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position based in Georgetown, TX, with potential for remote work. Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Travel to customer sites and internationally with a valid passport required. Legally authorized to work in the USA and willing to travel abroad.
