Providing a car allowance to support your local travel needs in the Boston market

You'll Support Meaningful Work By:

Developing leads and driving them toward viable business opportunities

Collaborating with dealer partners and their sales teams to manage and grow business

Engaging with customers and the design community to uncover new opportunities

Managing opportunities from discovery through closure, leveraging Steelcase resources

Building relationships across vertical markets and within the local community

Partnering with internal teams including product specialists and design consultants

Contributing to growth in the SMB sector through increased customer count and opportunity volume

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of professional B2B sales experience in furniture, interiors, the built environment, or contract sales

Proven success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders

Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Boston area

Must have access to a personal vehicle for local travel

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field-or equivalent military experience

Experience working within a dealer-based sales model

Established relationships in the community or relevant industry networks

Familiarity with lead generation tools and services (e.g., HubSpot or similar platforms)

Background in selling to real estate firms, construction, HVAC, or related sectors such as flooring or window treatments

The base salary range for this role is

$80,000 - $102,500 - $128,200. This role is also eligible for our Sales Incentive Plan bonus.
