Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium seeks a Hematologist Oncologist to join our team at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Level II Trauma center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state. As part of our Hematology Oncology team, you will join 4 physicians in managing a combination of outpatient clinics and inpatient consults throughout Alaska. Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography and cohesive team make this a one‑of‑a‑kind practice opportunity.
As a Hematologist Oncologist, you will work in clinic managing outpatients. Time is blocked on the outpatient clinic schedule to manage inpatients. The clinic is open Monday through Friday with physicians working four 10‑hour shifts per week, seeing 8‑12 patients per day. There is no formal call schedule, but the primary oncologist must be available for questions after hours.
