Your Mission Responsibilities True Anomaly is seeking a highly accomplished Staff Systems Engineer to support the rapid test launch campaign for a next-generation missile defense program. This is a generational opportunity to contribute to a solution to some of the most challenging mission sets in missile defense, not to mention aerospace engineering as a whole. In this role, you will perform requirements development, traceability, and verification across multiple coupled vehicles and systems. You will lead design trades and cross‑functional integration efforts while conducting impact analyses for changes and ensure design integrity across the system and supporting integration and test planning, risk assessments, and design reviews.
Qualifications Required Qualifications & Experience
5+ years full lifecycle experience leading a major subsystem through design, test, and verification
Strong technical leadership and systems architecture expertise
Proven leadership in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program
Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to lead technical trades
Ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams and coordinate across hardware and software boundaries
Demonstrated expertise with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret
Desired Qualifications & Experience
Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
Strong track record leading cross‑functional engineering teams and managing design‑to‑delivery cycles
Background in range certification, test readiness reviews, and safety boards
TS/SCI clearance
