Position Overview

ATLAS SP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help us build proprietary applications and data repositories to support our consumer and commercial asset finance business. The Senior Software Engineer will be a member of our experienced development team and collaborate with business stakeholders in asset finance to streamline client funding, portfolio management, collateral management, and financial reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software to support commercial lending

Collaborate with business and development teams to understand requirements, provide transparency, and maintain timelines

Provide support for vendor and proprietary systems that have been built around our lending workflows and client processes

Required Qualification and Experience

5+ years of experience in a technical role in financial services

Relevant technical university degree

Professional experience in object‑oriented programming and relational databases

Proficient in .NET and related Microsoft technologies

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with the CLS/ACBS lending platform

Experience with fixed income or commercial lending

Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively

Results oriented and commercial

Understanding of REST APIs and software design principles

Preferred Qualification and Experience

Experience with loan finance and credit markets

Hands on software engineering experience in Microsoft Azure

Excel Power User

Please note that remote work is not available for this position. The role is on‑site and based at one of our locations in Raleigh or New York City.

Base Salary Range $150,000 - $200,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
