What We Do The Senior Manager, Government Affairs leads advocacy efforts, monitors legislative developments, and manages political engagement activities to support the organization’s strategic priorities.
What You’ll Do
Track and analyze federal and state legislation, regulatory rulemaking, and emerging policy trends impacting the organization.
Collaborate with Underwriting, Regulatory, and Communications teams to develop strategic policy positions and advocacy materials.
Lead direct advocacy efforts with elected officials, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders to advance organizational priorities.
Manage donor databases, contribution records, and ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with FEC and state regulations.
Oversee planning and execution of PAC fundraising campaigns and political engagement events.
Process political contributions and disbursements in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies.
Monitor PAC financial activities and support the preparation of periodic compliance documentation and filings.
Coordinate logistics and communications for PAC-hosted events, political meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
Partner with Finance and Legal teams to ensure full compliance with PAC policies, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards.
Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on political engagement, advocacy opportunities, and risk mitigation.
What You’ll Bring
7–10 years of experience in government affairs, PAC administration, political fundraising, or a closely related field, including demonstrated leadership in advocacy strategy and stakeholder engagement.
Bachelor's degree required.
Strong understanding of FEC regulations and campaign finance laws, with a willingness to stay current on evolving compliance requirements.
Proficiency with donor management systems, CRM platforms, and political contribution tracking tools.
Exceptional attention to detail with advanced organizational and administrative capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Pay Range:
$145,000.00 - $193,325.00 annually. This is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting; it is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
