About the Company
DBV Technologies is a global clinical‑stage biopharmaceutical company on a mission to develop treatment options for food allergies and immunologic diseases with significant unmet medical need using our innovative epicutaneous immunotherapy technology platform, Viaskin® Patch. The company is focused on exploring the use of Viaskin® Patch to re‑educate the immune system of pediatric patients with peanut allergy, a devastating condition that afflicts millions of patients. DBV aims to provide the first epicutaneous immunotherapy treatment for peanut allergy and will continue to investigate broader applications of this new class of immunotherapy.
Role Summary The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field‑facing representative of DBV Technologies Medical Affairs whose primary responsibility is building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to support the medical and scientific needs of the company’s products. The MSL engages in the exchange of scientific data and other medical and clinical information with external stakeholders, supports clinical trials, provides medical education, and gathers relevant insights from the field on research developments, treatment landscape, and new concepts in medical treatment. The MSL is crucial in ensuring that the company’s products are understood and utilized effectively in the medical community.
Location Southeast – FL, GA, AL
Salary Range 120‑200K
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs, identifying, developing, and managing professional relationships in alignment with company objectives.
Educate KOLs & HCPs, providing educational information and updates tailored to their needs.
Accurately and compliantly interpret and disseminate balanced and factual scientific, clinical, and health economic data. Present scientific data at meetings, conferences, and educational sessions with clarity and engagement.
Gather insights: collect and report on insights from KOLs and HCPs to guide company/medical strategy, and provide competitive intelligence from the field to support strategic decision‑making.
Provide input for medical strategy, sharing field insights to inform the development of medical strategies that align with business objectives.
Respond to medical information requests (MIR) by providing timely and accurate responses to unsolicited medical inquiries from the healthcare community.
Support the sales force through scientific training and support, ensuring they are well equipped to communicate product information.
Coordinate and support clinical trials and other research activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support investigator‑led research projects (IITs, ISTs), ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications
A doctorate in a health science or clinical discipline is strongly preferred (MD/DO, PharmD, Nurse Practitioner, PhD or related); significant clinical and/or industry experience in relevant therapeutic areas may be accepted.
3+ years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry, clinical pharmacy, research, or a scientific/clinical setting; MSL experience preferred.
Strong broad‑based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge, with allergy/immunology and pediatric experience strongly preferred.
Clinical trial development and drug launch experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of clinical research processes, FDA regulations, and OIG guidelines is required.
Excellent presentation, teaching, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strategic thinking, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Independence in work and the ability to operate without close supervision while following Medical Affairs strategic direction.
Experience with frequent business travel (approximately 50‑75% of time), including overnight and weekend travel.
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a home‑based office (field‑based position).
