Overview Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI‑powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
We are seeking a Senior Staff Test Engineer (SEIT) to serve as the Test Lead for the Army’s Next Generation Command & Control (NGC2) system and additional products within our Connected Warfare division. This is a Level 6 senior staff role with responsibility for leading a team of test engineers and managing the full test lifecycle across both software‑enabled hardware and software systems.
In this role, you will lead test planning, execution, and reporting for developmental and operational test events, ensuring system‑level performance is validated in both laboratory and field environments. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, program management, and government stakeholders to deliver rigorously tested systems that meet the demands of the modern battlespace.
This is an opportunity to shape test strategy for one of Anduril’s most critical divisions, lead high‑performing teams, and directly influence the success of deployed warfighter capabilities.
What You’ll Do
Lead test planning and execution for the NGC2 system and other Connected Warfare products, managing software and hardware test environments.
Mentor a team of test engineers, providing technical leadership, guidance, and oversight during test campaigns.
Develop, execute, and report at each stage of system integration tests, developmental tests, operational assessments, and customer acceptance events.
Define and manage verification strategies that encompass requirements‑based, scenario‑based, and operationally relevant test methods, incorporating customer‑required standards and metrics.
Coordinate cross‑functional test activities with Program Management, Engineering, SEIT, and external test ranges and agencies. Oversee Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), manage test incidents, and track deficiencies.
Ensure all issues and deviations from performance specifications or system requirements are documented, prioritized, and communicated to engineering teams in a timely manner. Establish measurable test coverage metrics and traceability from requirements through verification and validation results.
Perform and supervise data analysis related to system performance during lab and operational test environments, focusing on actionable findings.
Represent the program at customer reviews, readiness boards, and milestone decision points, ensuring test campaigns are executed safely and in a disciplined manner, whether in lab settings or austere field environments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred). Equivalent relevant experience may substitute.
10+ years of experience in system‑level test and evaluation of integrated hardware/software systems, with at least 5+ years in a technical leadership or test lead capacity.
Proven experience leading test teams (≥ 5 engineers/technicians) and managing complex multi‑site test campaigns.
Hands‑on experience executing developmental and operational test events in both lab and field environments.
Strong background in requirements development, test planning, verification/validation, and test reporting, including traceability management.
Experience with RF communications, tactical datalinks, and networked C2 systems in at least one DoD operational environment.
Demonstrated familiarity with industry and DoD test processes, including MIL‑STD test protocols and government verification practices.
Skilled in test metrics definition and reporting (e.g., test coverage %, requirements verification %, defect closure rates).
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills with ability to brief at senior levels (internal and external).
Ability to travel periodically up to 50% for test execution at ranges and field sites.
Ability to immediately obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical field.
Previous experience as Test Lead on a DoD ACAT I/II program or equivalent.

Familiarity with test automation frameworks, data analysis tools, and test instrumentation.
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, software integration, and hardware‑in‑the-loop test environments.
