Position Physician | General Hematology/Oncology | Wheeling Hospital
West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology seek a Hematologist/Oncologist (MD or DO) qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in
Wheeling, West Virginia
and may also be assigned to additional work sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Travel is anticipated to fulfill duties at these sites.
Duties
Provide expert clinical care in Hematology/Oncology.
Actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
Participate in multidisciplinary cancer care teams and clinical trials.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent, and eligibility for state medical license.
Completion of an Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
