Full time, 36 paid 40
Thursday: Mass Bay or Dedham 6:30a–7pm
Friday: Mass Bay, 6:30am–7pm
Sunday: Dedham, 7am–7:30pm

What You Will Do
Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times. These policies, procedures and protocols can be issued by Shields or the partnering hospital group for the location you are assigned to.
Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
Perform scan in accordance to center’s protocol.
Administer intravenous contrast.
Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam.
Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
Forward data and/or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.
Perform contrast administration.
What You Need
Prior MRI scanning experience.
Necessitated certifications: MRI/ARRT/CPR; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.
Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.
Assist patients with mobility difficulties.
Some inpatient locations may require employees to participate in a call schedule/rotation.
Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.
Above physical requirements can be met with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications Pay range for this position is $40–$60/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Good to have: Experience in a fast-paced academic or community setting; knowledge of advanced MRI physics; strong interpersonal communication skills.
