CRO Strategies is an industry-leading staffing agency in the clinical research space. We are currently hiring multiple Business Development professionals to join our team and help expand our client network within the clinical research industry.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Business Development to lead the growth and expansion of our clinical research site network. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the clinical research space, a well‑established book of business, and a proven track record of success in building long‑term client relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic plans to grow our clinical research site network and client base.

Identify, target, and engage potential clients and partners within the clinical research industry.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, CROs, and other industry players.

Utilize industry tools such as Citeline, Global Data, and Zymewire to identify opportunities and track market trends.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs.

Lead negotiations and closing of new business deals, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.

Represent CRO Strategies at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and foster new partnerships.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in business development within the clinical research industry.

Established book of business with a strong network of industry contacts.

Proficiency in using industry tools such as Citeline, Global Data, and Zymewire.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
