We're seeking a future team member for the role of
Director, Product Manager
to join our Wealth Services Platform team. This role is located in New York, NY, Jersey City, NJ or Lake Mary, FL.
Responsibilities
Owns product discovery and new offer strategy and business case development for integrated solutions across wealth intermediaries and asset managers
Develop, lead, and execute the strategic vision and delivery framework for 0-1 product development; own the overall business case, commercial viability, business goals as well as the product / platform roadmap.
Sets strategies for product offerings, including pricing, product bundling across BNY's lines of businesses, revenue modelling and optimisation, and compliance
Conducts market and competitive analysis
Collaborates with legal and compliance to streamline onboarding and regulatory adherence
Oversee partnerships, as required, with third-party vendors and suppliers including deal structuring, billing and contract management
Prioritises the product backlog, aligning with revenue goals
Partners with digital product teams to ensure development and delivery in support of commercial OKRs
Accountable for all risks originated from services delivered (including remediation efforts) & owns, manages and aggregates view of risk across Product/Platform.
Continuously provide strategic input & decisioning, manage & reduce blockers, & ensure continuous flow of work for team and development teams
Provide day-to-day direction to guide Product / Platform operations and evaluate the impact of the Product against established scorecard.
Collaborate with Product / Platform Leadership to share progress, flag challenges, and codify lessons learned.
Manage issue escalations and risks.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10-15 years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery including financial product pricing, bundling and market launch
Commercially focused, prioritising market fit, revenue generation and compliance guardrails
High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development
Domain expertise in Wealth Services and Asset Management solutions
Passion for changing status quo and driving out-of-the-box ideas, always keeping a customer centric focus
Eagerness to 'roll up the sleeves' in execution and learning; pushes the team to do the same.
Strong leadership and influencing skills, especially across matrixed teams
Ability to make hard and fast decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.

Compensation BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $240,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company-sponsored benefit programs.
Employment Conditions This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
