Java Developer – Onsite – Boston, MA & New York, NY
2 Java Developer roles needed for senior Java developers with hands‑on experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, AWS, and microservices. Candidates must be local to Boston, MA or New York, NY and have 10+ years of experience. Primary Responsibilities
Lead architecture, design, development, and maintenance of web applications using Spring Boot, Oracle, core Java, Angular/AngularJS. Implement best practices in software development including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality standards. Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, fostering continuous learning and technical excellence. Collaborate with product owners, design leads, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver features on time. Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and scalability issues. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of Java/J2EE experience; strong design pattern, XML, DB2, SQL, and AWS knowledge. Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, SOAP, and JUnit/Spring MVC. Hands‑on experience with Angular/AngularJS, Hibernate (Mybatis), jQuery, and front‑end frameworks. Strong understanding of non‑functional requirements: performance, scalability, maintainability, and security. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated testing. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Preferred Skills
Distributed data technologies (Kafka, MQTT, Spark). Cloud services (Snowflake, AWS services). CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Harbor, Ansible, Docker). Employment Type
