Title: Senior Manager, Marketing & Brand Partnerships
Reporting To:
Director, Marketing & Brand Partnerships
Classification: Full-Time Employee
Annual Base Salary: $120,000 - $130,000
Location: Hybrid in New York, NY

Responsibilities
Pre‑Sale RFP Process
Serve as a strategic conduit between Sales and Content during RFP process, gathering and communicating advertiser insights, marketplace needs, historical information, and client feedback, coming up with creative solutions that solve complex client goals, and bringing the pitch to life via compelling visuals/decks and copywriting
Support Sales throughout the pre-sale stage through RFP response submission, deck creation, client pitch updates, and any questions, issues, or support requests that may arise
Hold brainstorming sessions when needed
Update sales materials / decks when needed
Join external client calls when needed
Collaborate with Sales and Account Management on pricing strategies and media plan builds
Special emphasis on client strategy, creative development, sales materials generation, and content planning
Post‑Sale Execution
Liaison with Account Management and Content teams to externally manage post-sale execution aspects of advertiser campaigns
Client communication and organizing program kick-off calls
Crafting deliverable timelines that align with campaign launch/delivery tracking
Strategy and fulfillment of custom partnership elements (custom segments, branded content, experiential, etc.)
Tentpole / Proactive Sales Packaging
Develop a sustainable process for tentpole content planning and packaging, proactively managing a tentpole calendar and associated sponsorship opportunities across the Wave ecosystem
Scope alongside Content, package with Revenue Operations and Account Management, and formulate best‑in‑class sales materials
Assist with market positioning strategy and tentpole packaging around key sports and entertainment calendar moments, seeking to consistently identify efficiencies and streamline communication/feedback loops
Coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments (Content, Production, Social Programming, Experiential, etc.) to create premium content opportunities for Sales’ highest priority partners and accounts
Distill content and sponsorship opportunities into sellable packages while crafting the positioning, marketing strategy, and creative guidelines
Work with Sales and Account Management to build media plans
Serve as strategic support for all sales packages/pitches in‑market
Qualifications
Minimum 5‑7 years’ experience in integrated marketing / strategy / brand partnerships
Experience in team management / leadership is extremely preferred in order to help grow and develop more junior team members
Proven ability to develop best‑in‑class sponsorship opportunities across digital and social
Experience in managing complex RFPs and campaigns with premium, blue chip partners
Creative thinker who can present opportunities visually in Google Slides
Excellent project management skills (detail‑oriented); ability to move multiple proactive initiatives forward and manage varying reactive deliverables simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive‑level decision‑makers
Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data, research, and trends into actionable insights
Proven ability to influence, inspire and motivate cross‑functional teams, inclusive of more junior team members for leadership and mentorship

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment
The worker may be exposed to variable lighting conditions (brightness or darkness) and noise during production when in the office
