Guardian Veterinary Specialists Guardian Veterinary Specialists is a privately-owned, 29,000 sq. ft., 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital located in upper Westchester County, NY, one hour north of New York City. We are looking for motivated team players dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine to join our group of exceptionally talented specialists and veterinary support staff. Our specialty departments include critical care; surgery (soft tissue, orthopedics, laparoscopy); neurology/neurosurgery; oncology; ophthalmology; cardiology; and rehabilitation. We are looking for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our motivated team players dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine. Applicant's MUST have their own Reliable Transportation At Guardian Veterinary Specialists, we diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiac conditions including: Congestive heart failure. Congenital heart disease, including aortic stenosis, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, patent ductus arteriosus. Acquired heart disease, including heart valve disease, pericardial disease, dilated cardiomyopathy. Arrhythmias (heart rhythm disorders). Pericardial and pleural space disease. As Veterinary Specialists, We Offer a Complete Array Of Today’s Most Technologically Advanced Diagnostic And Treatment Resources For Our Patients And Their Families, Including Echocardiogram. Electrocardiogram (with and without contrast). Angiography. Balloon valvuloplasty. Cardiac CT. Fluoroscopy. Holter monitoring. Pacemaker implantation. Patent ductus arteriosus occlusion. Pericardiocentesis. Qualified Applicants For This Role Love of animals and a passion to help and heal, first and foremost. The desire to continually learn and grow.
