Description The
Sr. Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis
is a key business partner to Erie Home’s Commercial, Marketing, and Operations leadership teams. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping profitable growth strategies, uncovering performance opportunities, and driving cross‑functional alignment to achieve our short‑ and long‑term objectives. Acting as a strategic operator rather than a traditional analyst, this role uses data‑driven insights, business acumen, and influence to help define where we compete, how we win, and how we scale profitably.

Sr. Director of Margin Enhancement and Strategic Growth

How You Will Make An Impact Drive Strategic Performance and Business Growth
Act as a trusted advisor to Commercial, Marketing, and Operations leaders, translating complex data into actionable strategies that improve sales, margin, and operational efficiency
Bring an “outside‑in” mindset, leveraging market intelligence, competitive insights, and business analytics to challenge assumptions and shape decision‑making
Develop and communicate performance narratives that highlight key profit drivers by market, region, material, and customer segment
Lead the Monthly Business Review process, driving accountability and alignment across business functions
Serve as a catalyst for innovation, identifying opportunities to optimize pricing, productivity, and customer economics as well as new product development support
Plan, Forecast, and Deliver Insight with Clarity
Own and continuously improve sales and margin forecasting models by office, region, and material; ensuring transparency, accuracy, and agility in planning cycles
Conduct forward‑looking performance analyses that anticipate risk, highlight opportunity, and guide commercial and operational action
Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop strategic plans and long‑range forecasts that align financial goals with growth ambitions
Collaborate with IT partners to build tools and dashboards (Power BI, Salesforce, etc.) that elevate visibility and support real‑time, data‑driven management
Support Board of Director presentation material preparation
Lead Across the Enterprise
Act as the connective tissue between Finance, Commercial, Marketing, and Operations teams; ensuring that data and insights drive unified decision‑making
Champion a culture of analytical excellence—teaching, influencing, and empowering leaders to use data strategically
Continuously evolve analytical methods, tools, and reporting to keep pace with Erie Home’s growth and market dynamics
Partner with Recruiting and Operations to optimize workforce planning and productivity
Share best practices, tools, and insights across the finance organization to elevate overall business intelligence maturity
Requirements
3–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or operations analytics, ideally within a multi‑site, direct‑to‑consumer or home improvement environment
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
Proficiency in Power BI, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong strategic and financial acumen; able to connect numbers to business narratives and outcomes
Relentless curiosity with the ability to dig deep for answers and insights
Proven change agent with the courage to challenge the status quo and drive improvement
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, prioritizing effectively and delivering measurable impact
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to simplify complex insights for senior audiences
Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable leading through shifting priorities and business dynamics
Builds trust quickly through collaboration, transparency, and follow‑through
Takes ownership of results, learns from setbacks, and moves with urgency toward solutions
