The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Director of Slot Operations to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. Our ideal candidate is experienced in the gaming industry and with local gaming regulations. You’ll use your skills to effectively manage the Slots Department, including the development of strategic and tactical plans to optimize performance and revenue. As a leader within the unit, you’ll also be held accountable for managing, supervising, coaching the Slot team so they remain engaged.
Full relocation is available with a generous compensation plan that includes base salary and annual bonus potential.
Pay Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $111,900 – $151,000 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules.
Develop, implement, and enforce all departmental policies and procedures.
Establish the annual departmental budget and ensures adherence to the planned budget.
Monitor and report on slot performance; adjust machines to maximize profitability.
Evaluates new equipment for purchase; coordinates all machine repairs, moves, and installation with maintenance and the state gaming authority.
Manage and direct the selection, training, development, and appraisal of the team.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skill.
Organize and delegate assignments as assigned to the Shift Manager.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues.
More about you
Minimum of 5 years of experience in slot operations management at a senior level.
Experience with management of yearly budgets, monthly P&L’s, quarterly departmental reviews for the Slot team.
Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure.
Ability to work flexible shifts.
No degree required.
