Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production operations across CNC, composite, assembly, and finishing departments.
Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet delivery and quality targets.
Lead, train, and mentor production staff to ensure high performance and accountability.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve workflow, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
Manage materials, inventory, and workflow between departments.
Track production metrics (throughput, scrap, downtime, etc.) and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Report production performance, challenges, and progress to company leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (machining, composites, or precision manufacturing preferred).
Strong knowledge of CNC processes, production scheduling, and workflow management.
Proven success leading teams in a high‑mix, low‑volume production environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Data‑driven mindset with experience improving processes and efficiency.
Familiarity with ERP or production management systems (experience with Fishbowl a plus).
Preferred Skills
Background in machining, composite, or precision manufacturing.
Experience with carbon fiber layup or composite fabrication.
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary ($90,000 - $120,000, DOE)
