Director, Client Solutions Group, Mid-Atlantic
As the Director of Client Solutions Group Mid‑Atlantic Region, you will play a pivotal role in executing strategies that enhance the adoption of S&P DJI's index‑linked products. This position is critical in driving revenue growth through strategic engagement with wealth management and institutional clients across the region. You will be part of a dynamic team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration, while building robust client relationships that align with our organizational goals.
About The Role Grade Level (for internal use): 13
You are a proven financial sales professional with experience and contacts in wealth and investment management. You have working knowledge of—and prior experience in—index‑based investing, ETFs, SMA and fund distribution. You have a passion for delivering client‑centric business models and driving adoption of index‑based solutions. You will work together with Directors and Senior Directors to drive post‑license flows into S&P DJI index‑based solutions.
Key Experience
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of index‑based investing, ETFs, SMAs, Funds, Insurance products and competitive landscape
Familiarity and prior experience supporting investment product sales in wealth or asset management
Outstanding communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts in concise and compelling fashion
Proven track record of working collaboratively cross‑functionally within a matrix /dotted line structure
Proven track record raising capital and driving sales goals via consultative sales tactics
Self‑motivated, curious and passionate about empowering those around them
Responsibilities And Impact You will report directly to the Head of Client Solutions Group, Americas, and be responsible for regional initiatives that maximize product utilization and facilitate asset growth, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will work closely with all parts of the S&P DJI organization, including Client Coverage, Product, Marketing, etc. You will act as an ambassador for S&P DJI, cultivating a high‑performance culture of client‑centrism, disciplined execution, collaboration, innovation, and integrity. This role is expected to interact with—and form, long‑standing relationships with—centers of influence at asset management and wealth management firms in America.
Work autonomously and collaboratively to drive index‑based solutions adoption across various financial services channels with a focus on wealth
Deliver a clearly differentiated, competitive position for S&P DJI. Maintain awareness of competitor strengths and weaknesses and uncover opportunities to gain market share
Strategically partner with distribution partners to develop, implement and support a diverse set of index solutions
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SPDJI indices. Provide thought leadership and educational presentations internally and externally
Partner and collaborate with S&P DJI commercial and product teams to develop and cultivate a pipeline of contacts. Build strong relationships internally, liaising with Sales, Client Service, IIS, Marketing, and Product teams to support client initiatives
Implement targeted initiatives to increase revenue wallet share through channel‑specific strategies and proactive client engagement, ensuring optimal product utilization
Execute and log robust KPIs and ROI measures to track and influence index fund flows, ensuring that strategies are data‑driven and aligned with organizational goals
Basic Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, investment consulting, or financial product sales particularly within asset management and/or wealth management
Proven track record of engaging with centers of influence and driving revenue growth.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage asset flows data and Salesforce for informed decision‑making.
Effective in networking with financial advisors across multiple channels including RIAs, BDs, independent advisors and insurance brokers

Compensation/Benefits Information S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $124,192 to $194,755. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
