Acuity International . This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required. Duties and Responsibilities
Perform pre-anesthetic screenings, including physical evaluations and patient interviews, and document results. Develop, recommend, and implement standard operating instructions and practices pertaining to the administration and management of anesthetics to ensure client safety, confidentiality, and quality service. Select and prescribe post-anesthesia medications or treatments. Administer post-anesthesia medications or fluids to support patients' cardiovascular systems. Evaluate patients' post-surgical or post-anesthesia responses, taking appropriate corrective actions or requesting consultation if complications occur. Monitor the effects of anesthesia, drugs, techniques, and patient reactions. Select, order, or administer pre-anesthetic medications, anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, fluids, or blood products as necessary. Discharge patients from post-anesthesia care and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program. Current licensure and compliance with state requirements concerning CRNAs. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Nurse Anesthetist. Current certification in ACLS and BLS. Board certification in nurse anesthesia. Proficiency with MS Office and computer skills. Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexible work requirements. US citizen or permanent resident residing in the US for at least 3 of the past 5 years. Preferred Qualifications
Current adjudicated Department of Homeland Security clearance. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Physical Requirements
