Position Title(s):
Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor
Job Summary:
As a member of Management, you will be the heartbeat of our store, responsible for managing daily operations, inspiring a high‑performance team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the store’s success and contribute to our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team; foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance.
Customer Experience: Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of service.
Sales & Performance: Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achievement of sales targets.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Financial Management: Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
Marketing & Community Engagement: Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence and attract new customers.
Innovation & Problem‑Solving: Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities; identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance store operations.
Additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Customer‑Centric: Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data‑driven decisions.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Tech‑Savvy: Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Minimum Requirements:
Assistant Store Manager:
Open availability, including during necessary opening and closing times (mornings, days, nights).
Minimum standard work week of 5 days.
Average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor:
Availability during necessary opening and closing times.
Minimum of 5 days of availability.
Minimum standard of a 30‑hour work week.
All Management Roles:
Weekend and holiday availability.
Consistent punctuality and attendance per company policies.
Reliable transportation.
Clear spoken English for customer and staff communication.
Written English and basic business math skills.
Possible relocation within the company’s network based on operational needs.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged standing (approx. 5–14 hours per day).
Long periods during peak sales (up to 12 hours).
Stooping, kneeling, reaching, and pulling to stock merchandise.
Climbing ladders or stairs for stocking.
Lifting items weighing 5–25 lbs regularly; occasionally heavier.
Good vision, including color differentiation.
Moderate noise level in a retail setting.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation:
Assistant Manager: $20.38 – $24.50 per hour with bonus opportunities based on store KPIs.
Supervisor: $18.50 – $18.50 per hour.
All roles eligible for the 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company‑paid time off.
